Dragon Ball has been around for decades, and by this point, anime fans have figured out who their favorite fighters are. From Goku to Piccolo and even Yamcha, the show has featured all kinds of warriors. Things can get a little dicey when Dragon Ball Super fans start debating how certain heroes would fare in the event of a surprise anyone encounter. And thanks to a worldwide poll, we’ve learned which fighter Dragon Ball Super fans like best of all.
Who might it be? Well, it’s not Goku or Vegeta. The results of the Dragon Ball Secret Battle Hour are released, and it turns out that the championship went to Gohan. What is amazing, right?

The update went out not long ago as voting for the Dragon Ball tournament final ended. There was Piccolo squared off against Gohan, and Saiyan won. Now, Dragon Ball Super has announced that they will be releasing commemorative hero artwork to celebrate, and we all know Piccolo did his best against the hero.
As for the rest of the poll, some Super Saiyan contenders were eliminated early in the vote. Goku took on Vegeta in the second round where he won the first. Piccolo and Goten were facing each other, and we obviously know Nimkian won. Piccolo went on to beat Goku, and so he faced Gohan in the final round.
On the other side, Mr. Satan lost to a farmer with power level 5, but they were unable to defeat Krillin who beat Majin Buu. As for Gohan, he defeats Frieza and Cell in a move before taking home the entire tournament. So if you ever doubted the fandom’s love for Gohan, ditch the idea. Goku’s eldest son is popular for a reason, and he deserved this win without a doubt.
Obviously, the Dragon Ball franchise has known about Gohan’s influence for some time now. The latest feature in the anime has shifted its focus to Son Goku, after all. Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero dropped last year with Gohan and Piccolo leading the way. At this point in time, there’s no telling what the next Dragon Ball movie will do, but this poll suggests that fans want to see Gohan and a lot of him move forward!
